Mobile Massage
for Foreigners
in Seoul

Getting a massage in another country can feel a little unfamiliar. The pressure may be stronger than you expected, the stretches may be different from what you’re used to, and you might wonder how to explain what you want without speaking Korean.

Seoul Outcall Massage provides mobile massage for foreigners in Seoul with these differences in mind. Our therapists regularly work with international customers. We begin with a gentler touch, adjust the pressure as the massage progresses, and use simple English, gestures, or a translation app when needed.

You don’t have to be familiar with massage in Korea to enjoy your session.

01 / A GENTLER START

Mobile Massage for Foreigners: Why We Start Gently

SEOUL OUTCALL

In our experience, many Korean customers enjoy firm massage pressure. Some feel that a light massage hasn’t really worked the areas they wanted, and prefer a stronger, more intense session. Therapists who regularly serve these customers can become accustomed to using that level of pressure.

But if you haven’t had this style of massage before, it can feel stronger than you expected.

That’s why we start a little more gently with our international customers. We give you time to feel the massage and build up the pressure according to your response, rather than beginning at an intensity you may not be used to.

This doesn’t mean foreign customers all prefer a light massage. If you enjoy firm pressure, you’re welcome to ask for it. The gentler start simply gives us room to find a level that suits you.

You can also ask for different pressure in different areas. You might enjoy firmer work on your shoulders but prefer a softer touch on your legs. There’s no need to have the whole massage at one intensity.

02 / THAI OR SWEDISH

Not Comfortable with Thai Massage Stretching?

Pressure is only one part of how a massage feels. Thai massage also includes assisted stretching, where the therapist moves and stretches parts of your body.

Some customers enjoy these movements. Others find them unfamiliar or uncomfortable, even when the pressure itself feels fine. If you’re used to an oil massage without much assisted movement, Thai massage may be a different experience from what you had in mind.

If stretching isn’t for you, we recommend choosing our Swedish massage.

It’s an option for customers who would rather receive an oil massage without Thai-style stretching. You can still ask for lighter or firmer pressure. Choosing Swedish doesn’t mean you have to keep the entire session gentle.

You can find more about what the course includes on our Swedish massage course page.

If you’ve already chosen Thai massage and a particular stretch feels uncomfortable, let your therapist know. You don’t need to continue a movement simply because it’s part of the course.

03 / ENGLISH ON WHATSAPP

Our booking coordinator lived abroad for five years, so you can comfortably arrange your massage in English on WhatsApp.

Ask about the courses, explain what you’re looking for, or check availability for your preferred time. There’s no need to translate your messages into Korean. We can discuss your booking and answer your questions in English.

The person handling your booking and the therapist visiting you have different roles. Your WhatsApp booking is handled in English, while communication during the massage may involve simple English, gestures, or a translation app, depending on your therapist.

04 / DURING YOUR MASSAGE

You Don’t Need to Speak Korean

Our therapists have different levels of English. Some can hold a conversation, while others know a smaller number of words and phrases.

What they share is experience working with foreign customers.

Requests about pressure, stretching, and which area to focus on come up regularly. A few words, pointing to an area, or a simple hand gesture are often enough to get your meaning across.

For example, you can point to your shoulders and say “more here,” or ask for “softer, please” if you want less pressure. “No stretching” is also a straightforward way to explain your preference.

You don’t need to form a perfect sentence or know the Korean name for a body part. Our therapists are used to communicating with people who speak different languages, and most everyday requests can be worked out quite easily.

05 / WHEN WORDS NEED A LITTLE HELP

For Anything More Detailed, We Can Use a Translation App

Sometimes a gesture isn’t enough. You may want to explain that you’d like an area avoided, or that a particular movement feels uncomfortable.

When something needs more explanation, a translation app helps us communicate more clearly. Our therapists are accustomed to using one when necessary, so there’s no need to feel awkward about pausing briefly to translate a message.

You can speak or type in your own language, show the translation, and give the therapist a moment to understand. If the wording is unclear, we can check it together.

We don’t promise that every therapist speaks fluent English. We do have experience helping customers communicate without sharing a fluent language, and we’re comfortable taking a moment to understand what you mean.

06 / CLOTHING & TOWELS

What to Wear During Your Massage

If this is your first massage with us, here’s a brief explanation of clothing and covering.

For Thai massage, wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. Tight or restrictive clothing can make the stretching movements less comfortable.

For Swedish massage, clothing is moved or removed only as needed for the area being massaged, while the rest of your body stays covered with towels.

If you’re unsure what to do, ask your therapist before the massage begins. Simple words, gestures, or a translated question are all fine.

07 / YOUR MASSAGE

Mobile Massage for Foreigners in Seoul, Adjusted to You

You may be visiting Korea for the first time, or you may live here and still prefer to communicate in another language. Either way, you’re welcome to tell us how you like your massage.

You don’t need to be used to strong pressure. You don’t need to enjoy Thai stretching. And you don’t need to speak Korean to explain that you’d like something done differently.

We start gently because the pressure familiar to one customer may be unfamiliar to another. From there, we adjust to you.

Explore our massage courses, or get in touch if you’re unsure which one to choose.
